Meet the Founders
Two Different Strengths.
One Shared Commitment.
Kennedy Matthews and Evan Brannon bring different strengths to All American Veterans Assistance. Their partnership connects careful work behind the scenes with clear, personal communication.

Kennedy Matthews
Managing Partner
For Kennedy, working with veterans began long before AAVA—or the job that brought her into the industry in 2021.
Veterans have always been part of Kennedy's family. Her brother served multiple deployments to the Middle East with the Army's 82nd Airborne Division and earned both Airborne and Ranger qualifications. Her grandfather made the military his career, retiring as a colonel, and several other family members have served as well.
Her family’s roots also run deep in East Tennessee. Her great-grandparents came to Oak Ridge during the Manhattan Project, while the city was still being built around work much of the country knew nothing about. Two generations later, Kennedy was born there. Her children were born and raised there, too.
Over the years, Kennedy helped family members navigate veteran benefits and cared for aging grandparents and great-grandparents as their needs became more complicated—including a family member living with dementia.
Those experiences taught her that the challenges a veteran faces rarely affect the veteran alone. They affect spouses, children, caregivers, and entire families.
That perspective came with her when she began working professionally with veterans in 2021, and it continues to shape her work today.
Behind the Scenes
Kennedy performs much of AAVA’s behind-the-scenes work. She brings a strong working knowledge of medical terminology, careful attention to detail, and an ability to organize complicated histories and client-provided records.
She’s methodical by nature: looking for connections, asking questions, and bringing structure to information that can feel scattered or overwhelming. Her work centers on review, organization, and preparation—not medical diagnosis or treatment.

Evan Brannon
Managing Partner
Evan’s background spans sales, entrepreneurship, communication, and problem-solving. He owned his first company in his early twenties and later worked in disaster restoration, helping homeowners, contractors, and insurance companies communicate after fires, floods, and other property losses.
Those experiences taught him how to listen, ask questions, and make complicated situations easier to understand.
A Lesson That Stayed With Him
Evan’s father was one of ten children, and two of his father’s brothers served multiple tours in Vietnam.
When Evan was seven or eight, he was walking through Chicago’s O’Hare Airport with his father. They saw someone stop a veteran, shake his hand, and thank him for his service.
His father looked down at him and said:
“Don't just thank a Veteran. Figure out a way to make it up to them.”
Evan never forgot those words. He didn’t serve in the military himself, but years later, sitting across the table from veterans and their families, he found a meaningful way to contribute.
Today, Evan handles much of AAVA’s direct communication with veterans—asking questions, listening to their stories, explaining complicated information, and helping them understand what comes next and why.
Despite the company’s growth, his approach remains personal:
One veteran. One conversation. One responsibility at a time.
How They Work Together
Kennedy brings the analytical eye and organization behind the scenes. Evan brings the conversations that help veterans understand the information in front of them.
They approach the work differently, while sharing responsibility for careful preparation, honest answers, and keeping their commitments.
